Job Title: Editor
Job Description/Requisition Details: Demonstrate expertise in non-linear editing. Must be fast, efficient and creative while working under tight deadlines. Must be able to troubleshoot technical issues as they arise. In addition to the primary editing assignments, position may require working in studio positions as well.
Qualifications: Required:
Five plus years of experience as an Editor for Television Station or Cable Network. Must have strong interest in News and current events. Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team to edit video and reporter packages in a style consistent with station product/brand objectives. Strong communication skills and ability to complete assignments under required deadline. Must be able to work all shifts- including holidays.
High School diploma/ GED/ Some College
