Details:
WIYY-FM has an immediate opening for a Part Time News, Talk and Sports Producer. We are looking for someone with the ability to produce live, complex radio and web broadcasts covering fast changing
events. We are looking for a creative and energetic team player who understands the deadline demands and flexible schedules that the broadcast industry dictates.
Job Responsibilities:
- Primary Fill In for show Producers.
- Work with multiple shows and hosts/anchors.
- Strong board and audio editing skills.
- Knowledge of Nielsen PPM best practices, or aptitude to learn.
- Flexibility to work different shifts.
- Ensure FCC compliance and proper transmitter operation.
- Support news gathering efforts and breaking news coverage.

Experience:

- Must be available to work holidays, shifts that include nights, weekends and overnights, and
flexible with schedule to be available during breaking news
Education:
- College degree or comparable experience preferred.
