Details:
98 Rock (WIYY-FM), the Hearst-owned radio station in Baltimore, MD, is seeking qualified applicants for Assistant Program Director. This position is focused on the station’s programming and promotions functions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with all station programming, promotions, and associated duties.
- Schedule daily logs, including music, inserting promos, syndicated content, and comedy elements.
- Coordinate formats with Traffic Department.
- Maintain station’s music database.
- Produce Baltimore Ravens programming (including network and 98 Rock specific)
- Maintain schedule of part-time air talent and board ops/producers.
- Oversee technical execution of remote broadcasts.
- Upload music and production into WideOrbit.
- Participate in music meetings and interaction with record label and artist management.
- Generate callout music lists for research vendor.
Experience Requirements:
Ideal candidate should have experience working at a radio station or network and be particularly adept at local programming, production, research, FCC requirements and digital platforms. Expertise with WideOrbit and MusicMaster software preferred.
Education:
College degree preferred
