WJZ-TV has an immediate opening for a News Technician- Photographer.

Job Title: News Technician- Photographer
Job Description/Requisition Details: Primary duties are in the field gathering news. Duties to include News
Photographer, non-linear editing, ENG Microwave Truck operation and
DSNG Satellite Truck operation. Ability to shoot from helicopter desirable.
Must be available to work all shifts if needed.
Qualifications: Required:
High School diploma or equivalent. College or AA degree preferred.
Three to five years at a TV Station shooting and non-linear editing news in the field. Resume links should demonstrate high production value and excellent storytelling skills. Skilled at operating ENG vans and DSNG Satellite Trucks and bonded cellular transmission systems. (Dejero, Live-U and TVU)
Machines to Operate:
Sony PMW-350 HD Camera and related equipment. Grass Valley Edius non-linear editing equipment. Digital ENG Microwave transmission equipment, Satellite uplink and various other equipment used in remote news gathering. Ability to operate FLIR gyro-stabilized camera and related equipment in helicopter a plus. Dejero bonded cellular system. Commercial drone license desirable.
