POSITION:  Producer

AVAILABILITY:  A.S.A.P.

EDUCATION:   College degree preferred

QUALIFICATIONS:  Minimum of two years news producing experience required; knowledge of editing and live satellite and Helicopter operations; must have understanding of social media as an editorial tool; strong writing and teasing required.

DUTIES: Work with news managers to lead a team of anchors, reporters, photographers, editors and writers to identify compelling stories and showcase them throughout a newscast that meets station goals.

Helps lead daily planning, content management and aggressive execution of assigned newscasts. Review scripts to ensure accuracy, quality and compliance with all FCC requirements. Must have strong organizational and communication skills.

MACHINES TO OPERATE: iNews news computer system; personal computer; 2-way radio; edit equipment.
