Maryland D.C. Delaware Broadcasters Association members have taken full advantage of the $429 RAB Academy Online training programs that we have made available to you at no charge.  Fifty of our stations’ sellers are on their way to higher sales and better service to their advertisers.

You can still take advantage of this resource.  For the remainder of 2007 your association will continue to fund these programs for members.  Just contact the Radio Advertising Bureau to place your order.

The RAB has taken the best of its Academy Sales Foundations classroom content and put it into a new system of communicating key Radio sales concepts anytime, anywhere the student can access a computer.  It's ideal for any seller who has not completed a comprehensive Radio sales training program, and is also great for experienced sellers who need a review and update of their skills.

Academy Online covers seventeen topics from the Academy class.  Each lesson generally takes less than 30 minutes to complete. They include workbook exercises, and sample video and audio role-plays.  Quizzes are online at the end of every lesson, and emailed feedback on the salesperson's understanding of core concepts is communicated to them and to their manager immediately.

Students may choose to go straight through all lessons in just a couple of days, or only study one or two lessons a week.  You decide the pace. Following completion of the course, access to each lesson is available for limited video review, and each student has a workbook to refer to for years to come.

RAB Academy curriculum doesn't just come from one trainer, but from thousands of sellers who talk to the RAB every week, and help to keep the content current.  The core lessons are created incorporating video lessons from the entire RAB Radio Training Academy faculty.
