POSITION: General Assignment Reporter
AVAILABILITY: A.S.A.P.
EDUCATION: College degree preferred
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicant should have significant experience in general assignment reporting. Live television experience is a must. Should be reporting for at least two to three years in a medium sized market.
DUTIES: Deliver reports for daily newscasts. Develop contacts, enterprise hard news stories write and produce packages and respond well to breaking and spot news. Ensure balanced and ethical presentation of the news.
Must possess strong writing, producing, and reporting skills. Candidates
must be able to enterprise unique content. Must meet deadlines. Must
have excellent news judgment, good written, verbal and personal
communication skills. Must be a strong team player. Prepare content
for station website as needed. Need strong sense of current events,
including local news and national news.
MACHINES TO OPERATE:
iNews newsroom computer system and personal computer.
